Staging my home seems to be easy enough. Why should I hire
a professional?
Many
home sellers “stage” their homes. Keep in mind, that we are
emotionally attached to our own homes, making it difficult
to see through the eyes of the buyer. Additionally, our
personal taste might not correspond to most buyers’ taste.
A professional home stager will provide an objective
viewpoint and use tried and true techniques to ensure a
quicker sale, for a higher price.
I don’t
want to have to buy more furniture and accessories. What
will all this cost?
The cost
of having your home staged will be much less than the first
price reduction you will have to do, once your home is on
the market for a certain length of time. Professional home
stagers charge differently for their services, as with most
professions. Call around and get quotes from various
professionals serving your area. At OM Staging Productions,
we are committed to offering a package to fit every budget.
For owner-occupied homes, we use as much of the owners’
furniture and belongings in the staging process. We may
recommend certain types of accessories if and where needed,
but bear in mind that these are accessories which can be
used in your new home, when you get a fresh start.
